This solution was created to address an issue with cutters incorrect scaling/sizing of cut jobs with membrane and/or graphic cutters.
Root cause- The changing of the cutters model number will change the expected scaling and sizing. This could have been related to an unexpected shutdown or power surge, brownout.
For Graphic iTech Cutters:
Please check and confirm that the itech cutters Model number
536 has not changed from (3536)
830TM has not changed from (2830)
830GT has not changed from (830)
836TM has not changed from (2836)
836GT has not changed from (836)
848TM has not changed from (2848)
848GT has not changed from (848)
836 (auto stand) has not changed from (1036)
etc.
Please note steps were created using a 536 cutter as the model, enter your model if differs
Please check and confirm that the Model number of your 536 has not changed from (3536).
From main menu
Select Settings -> About this Machine ->Select User Settings Select Basic button
Enter password 25 enter
This will get into Advanced settings
Select the Back button
Cutter Information screen will appear
Review the Model number
If differs from 3536, will need to be changed
Select Set Model Number and select 3536
system will reinitialize should take about 10 seconds.
Please note: If your speed and force also changed, it's probably a good idea to default your settings by doing diagnostic 43
Diagnostic 43 requires Advanced settings menus
Select Settings
Machine Diagnostics
Select 43
The cutter will reset, then should come back to a normal display.
Turn cutter off then on.
Now perform the Cut Calibration again and should be accurate, if off a little enter measure in measure entry (refer to the appropriate cutter cut calibration "Cutter Calibration - TMC").
For Membrane iTech Cutters:
Please check and confirm that the itech cutters Model number
536 has not changed from (3536)
830TM has not changed from (2830)
830GT has not changed from (830)
836TM has not changed from (2836)
836GT has not changed from (836)
848TM has not changed from (2848)
848GT has not changed from (848)
836 (auto stand) has not changed from (1036)
etc.

You can check this by pressing Select
Right arrow twice
Dia should appear
use up arrow to 3
Press select
25 will appear
select down arrow till 23 hit select
Now Model should appear
If differs from 3536
Scroll to 3536
Press select system will reinitialize should take about 10 seconds

Press select
Right arrow twice to 'dia'
Press Select
Up arrow to 43
Press select
The cutter will reset, then should come back to a normal display of C145.
Turn off the cutter, turn on cutter.
Now perform the Cut Calibration again and should be accurate, if off a little enter measure in measure entry (refer to the appropriate cutter cut calibration for Vintage cutters "Cutter Calibration - iTech_MMC")
